When the scheme will be launched?
This is just a promise by a particular political party that if they come to power, they will implement it. The scheme was announced on 6th January 2025 by Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and KPCC President Shri DK Shivakumar for the women of Delhi.

Shri DK Shivakumar is Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and KPCC President , he announced the scheme because a similar scheme named “Gruha Lakshmi Scheme” is already running in Karnataka.

“Gruha Lakshmi Scheme”
The Gruha Lakshmi Scheme is an initiative by the Karnataka government aimed at providing financial assistance to women who are the heads of their households.
Key Details of the Gruha Lakshmi Scheme
Monthly Assistance:
Eligible women receive ₹2,000 per month via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Eligibility Criteria:
Women must be permanent residents of Karnataka.
Must be listed as the head of the family on the ration card (BPL, APL, or Antyodaya cards).
Women such as housewives, widows, or divorced individuals can apply.
Ineligible if:
- The husband is an income taxpayer.
- The head of the household files GST.
Required Documents:
- Ration card.
- Aadhaar card .
- Bank account details.
- Proof of residence.
- Income certificate (if required).
Application Process:
Online: Through the Seva Sindhu portal.- Offline: Registration can be done at centers like Karnataka One, Grama One, and Bapuji Seva Kendras.
- Applicants must provide accurate details and attach necessary documents for verification.
